"Looking Glass" wound up being a lot different than it started. Nick wrote a great little alternative rocker with this one. If you are well-versed in 1990s alternative rock, it might be said that "Looking Glass" almost had a Spin Doctors vibe to it.

Then it happened. I was staying up late one night mixing and then an idea struck me. I started picking an acoustic guitar along with it lightly and tracked it, then removed the electric guitar that was driving the song. After that, I layered B3 and piano over that. Next I threw on some mandolin. Suddenly it was a completely different song. It's a higher level of psychedelic than we've gone before.

My apologies to Nick on this one, as I know this wasn't what he intended. I have to thank him, though, for going along with me on this.
