Sleepdriving 02:39
Pollution makes the moon seem very large Or is it just my lack-sleep eyes? These midnight scenes flash around me as I try to Stay on course and out of the ditch The lazy will not eat The workers will not dream I lost my nerve as a student of this world I said goodbye from a star filled sky Now I just make a little money I think I need and I Watch the world slip into hell While I’m sleepdriving under A pollution moon in a cloudy cinema sky All the roadkill watch me as I grind by It’s the only time I can find a little the only time I can find a little the only time I can find a little shuteye A little shuteye

about

On the previous studio album there is a 1 minute lead vocal performance by Casey Wollberg entitled, “Encore.” It was a song which was simple a thought at the time. “Sleepdriving” is a more complete song and Casey takes the lead vocal as he spins a harrowing late night journey through the Missouri backroads.
